The IC-A2 was a direct descendant of rifles developed to meet the requirements for US Army Individual Carbine Program. Based off a tried and true carbine platform, the IC-A2 is built on the LWRC MonoForge upper receiver with an integrated rail base. A 9″ free floated quad rail allows for attachments to meet the user’s needs. A patented self-regulating short-stroke gas piston system raises the bar on reliability and ease of maintenance. The piston system can be quickly accessed by removing the rail via 2 thumb screws.
A fully ambidextrous lower receiver ensures the rifle can be manipulated by left or right handed shooters in any shooting position. The NiCorr treated cold hammer forged barrel with a nickel-boron coated bolt delivers unparalleled wear resistance.
LWRC Factory California rifles are equipped with a built in spring loaded plunger that will disable the magazine release while the action/upper is closed. Once the action/upper is open the plunger will enable the use of the magazine release. An addition of the Juggernaut Tactical Hellfighter rear takedown pin allows for even quicker magazine changes.
