Geissele’s Super Duty Rifle features the latest in weapons technology. The upper features a 5.56 NATO chambered, 16″ Cold Hammer Forged, Chrome-lined barrel, Manganese Phosphate with a 1:7″ twist and includes a Surefire Closed-Tine flash hider. These barrels are precision machined in-house at Geissele’s North Wales, PA facility. The 16″ model uses a mid-length gas system and utilizes a Super Compact Gas Block with bomb-proof installation for reliability and optimal performance.
The Super Duty uses a 15″ SMR MK16 Modular Rail with M-LOK compatibility and slim design to benefit the user. It uses M-LOK attachment points at the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions as well as the 45 degree quadrants. A Super Duty lower is precision machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and includes a Ultra Duty lower parts kit and ambidextrous safety. The high quality mil-spec 6 position buffer tube uses a Super-42 action spring and H2 buffer.
